More information can be found here [please apply online] is hiring a sales consultant for its showroom in Annapolis, MD. The position pays a competitive base salary, lucrative commissions, bonuses, and full benefits. A commission stipend is paid monthly for one year during the mandatory paid training period. A vehicle is required for full-time use to and from the showroom and travels to customers.

Working a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and every other Saturday from 9 AM - 1 PM is required. A weekday off is given when working Saturdays. Occassional hours in the evening and overnight travel are needed for attending training and networking events.

Position Responsibilities

• Sell a variety of appliances to builders, homeowners, and designers to warm leads in the showroom
• Build a book of business through customer referrals and cold calling
• Develop lasting customer relationships through communication, professionalism, and exceeding expectations
• Work collaboratively with customers to develop a design for each project
• Consistently follow up with customers and warm leads
• Stay current with project timelines, schedules, and status of deliveries

Position Requirements

• Experience selling or installing appliances is preferred, but we are willing to train.
• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to develop a rapport
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
• Understanding the installation and use of appliances is helpful

Compensation

• Base salary
• Monthly commission stipend for the first year of employment
